Fifth week of push ups concluded
I did a repeat of Wednesday's round again this morning. The only difference was I did slight shorter rests between sets. This made the last set tough enough that I fell 3 short. I'll keep trying. Maybe on Saturday I'll do some push ups just to see if it helps any for Monday's start.
| Set | The plan | What I did | Difference | Post Rest Time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 23 | 23 | 0 | 90 secs |
| 2 | 28 | 28 | 0 | 90 secs |
| 3 | 23 | 23 | 0 | 90 secs |
| 4 | 23 | 23 | 0 | 3 mins |
| 5 | 33 | 30 | -3 | |
| Total: | 130 | 127 | -3 |
I have done two runs so far this week. Tuesday and Thursday. Thursday was chilly (mid 30s) and windy. For part of the way on my local greenway I was running into a headwind. It was strong enough that after turning around I easily picked up the pace by about 30 secs or so per mile. That felt good, until I turned off to an uphill and cross wind again.
Group run tomorrow morning. Over the last 2 weeks the group has grown significantly. More than 20 runners and walkers showed up last week!

I did manage to complete week 4, day 2, column 3 today as written with a final set of 36. That last set was quite tough to do, but I can see I'm making progress.
